Deep within the captivating rolling fields, resided a shepherd boy. His being was untarnished, simple yet virtuous. His main role was to tend to his herd of sheep.
Their low murmuring and the rustling of the breezes across the single tree on the hilltop were his main associates. Day upon day, guarding his responsibilities imbued in him a feeling of tranquil contentment.
However, there were the occasional moments of loneliness, when the shepherd boy would pine for fellowship. In one such instance because of sheer monotony, the shepherd boy devised a mischievous plan.
Narratives of wolves preying on sheep had been heard times and again in the village. So, the boy chose to exploit this fear and played a trick on the villagers.
